Special Notice Regarding Filing by Mail

Due to continued delays in the United States Postal Service, self-represented filers are encouraged to utilize the Court’s electronic filing system (eFast) to ensure timely filings. Alternatively, self-represented filers who choose to file by conventional paper filing should consider using a third-party commercial carrier for delivery. See Court of Appeals of Georgia’s Rule 4. Court Filings and Determination of Filing Date.

Self-represented parties must have a case pending before the Court of Appeals of Georgia in order to register to file electronically. Your docketing notice includes a username that will allow you to register. If you have any problems registering, click on Request Registration Assistance. You can also contact the Clerk’s Office at 404-656-3450.
