April 8, 2025 – Presiding Judge Christopher J. McFadden, Judge Kenneth Hodges, III, and Judge Trea Pipkin head northeast to Elbert County to hold oral arguments. This will be the Court’s second offsite event of 2025, and it celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Georgia Appellate Practice Act, which aims to simplify the procedure for bringing a case to the appellate courts. The panel will hear oral arguments at the Elbert County Historical Courthouse on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
This event is open to the public and we anticipate it will be attended by local members of the Bar and other members of the public.
This visit continues the Court’s program of outreach across the state.
