During the Centennial Year of the Court of Appeals of Georgia, 2006, the Court adopted the seal which you see to the left. The figure in the center of the seal is Lady Justice as she is portrayed on the State Judicial Building doors. Lady Justice symbolizes the fair and equal administration of the law, without corruption, avarice, prejudice, or favor.

Prior to the adoption of the centennial seal, the seal of the Court of Appeals of Georgia was the obverse side of the Great Seal of Georgia which was adopted January 2, 1907 at the first "en banc" meeting of the judges.
