Revised Georgia Court of Appeals Policy Regarding Masks in the Nathan Deal Judicial Center
Effective: Tuesday, March 5, 2024
The following health protocols have been established for visitors entering the building, in coordination between the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals and the State-wide Business Court in light of the Center for Disease Control’s revised COVID-19 guidelines.
Visitors entering the NDJC or visiting the common areas of the NDJC generally are not required to wear a mask or socially distance, but may choose to do so.
Visitors must wear an appropriate mask and comply with social distancing requirements where indicated by signs in any judicial chambers, court office, or other specific area in the NDJC.
Note: the NDJC has a state of the art HVAC system. The Georgia Building Authority also continues to clean and frequently disinfect public areas such as elevators, lobbies and washrooms, and hand sanitizing stations remain available for use throughout the building.
Questions: If you have any questions about this policy, please contact the Clerk’s Office at (404) 656-3450.
